Candidate must be a triple threat with at least three years experience in web publishing, video production, and a background in music journalism. Excellent contacts within the music industry is a must.
The Director of Content’s duties include but are not limited to:
• Daily oversight of all site content including blogs, video, news and community.
• Planning and management of the weekly production and publishing calendars.
• Researching, introducing and overseeing the implementation of new site tools and user resources.
• Communicating regularly with labels, publicists, artist reps.

The candidate must possess the following qualifications:
• A college degree in either journalism, communications or English from four year college
• excellent writing and communication skills
• highly organized and self-motivated
• strong interpersonal skills
• at least 2 years of professional writing experience, preferably with a weekly or daily publication.
• Ability to succeed in an extremely fast-paced environment
• A demonstrable knowledge of and passion for the online medium and hip-hop culture
• A can-do, leadership, winning attitude
