JANUARY “FOOD FOR THE SPIRIT”

The spiritual gift for the month of JANUARY is FAITH.

2007 was a challenging year for a lot of people, however, even with everything that happened, we survived and by God’s grace we made it through, so give thanks! 2008 is a year of new beginning so use it to your advantage by fully utilizing your spiritual gift of FAITH. As you begin this New Year, it’s very important that you think positive, stay focused on your good, keep it moving and most importantly, leave the past in the past!

Your spiritual gift of FAITH will be vital as you achieve your goals because it gives you the ability to see past the temporary illusions of earth and allows you to see into the infinite possibilities of the eternal, invisible realm of Spirit. As you begin your new adventures, use your spiritual gift of FAITH and allow yourself to, “dream the impossible dream”, about your life, your family, community and humanity!

Of course around this time of year, we make all kinds of “resolutions” that by next month, we usually forget about! However, it’s going to be different now because you are aware of your spiritual gift of FAITH! This year I want you to do something that may seem challenging at first, as much as possible, allow yourself to “walk by FAITH and not by sight”! That simply means you must be loving, fearless and not judge, (yourself or others) by appearances, give yourself and others the benefit of the doubt. Remember, everything you see is temporary and constantly changing, only God is eternal. Allow yourself and others the time to grow into their highest manifestation, all of us are a work in progress!

FAITH is the foundation that everything is built on, think about it, institutions, nations, relationships, jobs, all start with the belief that everything will manifest the way we desire. Each time you do something you’ve never done before, you use FAITH, hoping that it’s going to work out in your best interest especially if it’s uncharted territory. If you didn’t have FAITH you would never try anything new, you would just stay in your box. FAITH helps to remind you that what may seem impossible to you, really is possible with God!

Now is the perfect time to use your FAITH to, “go for it”, you have nothing to lose! This is going to be a remarkable year, I can’t really explain why, but can’t you feel it? It’s written that FAITH is, “the substance of things hoped for and the evidence things unseen”, so I’ll just leave you with that, have a GREAT New Year, Word!
