The spiritual gift for the month of APRIL is WISDOM
Your spiritual gift of WISDOM is vital to your growth and spiritual development because it gives you the ability to make the best decisions for your highest good. WISDOM has several aspects to it, discernment, evaluation and choices.
Spiritual development comes through the choices you make in your life and you do not grow until you begin to properly use your spiritual gift of WISDOM. Most of the time when making decisions, you rely on your mind or your five senses when dealing with outer conditions. When you follow your inner voice and allow spirit to guide you in any situation that’s using WISDOM.
With the abundance of information and technology available to you, sometimes making the right decision can seem complex or even overwhelming to you. Using WISDOM will give you the ability to discern facts from emotions so you can calmly evaluate the information given to you and decide what will be the best choice.
When you are faced with many choices and you’re not really sure of what to choose, you should stop right where you are, remain calm, get still and allow your spiritual gift of WISDOM to guide you. As soon as you do this, things will become clearer, which will allow you to know what choice to make. It’s important to remember that WISDOM will not give you concrete answers. Although using WISDOM is a thinking process, your answers will come to you as a “yes” feeling or a “no” feeling. That’s your intuition, which will never lead you in the wrong direction.
Think about how many times when you were in a situation when “something” just “felt” right and even though it seem illogical, you courageously followed that “feeling” and something good happened for you. Or when “something” just didn’t “feel” right and again, you listened to that “feeling” and kept yourself out of a negative situation. During those times you were using your spiritual gift of WISDOM.
Also, remember that you may make a few “mistakes” along the way as you learn to master WISDOM it’s natural, don’t beat yourself up, feel sorry for yourself or have any regrets. Regret makes you fearful and cripples your ability to grow in your consciousness. Every so-called “mistake” you have made or will make is another opportunity for you to grow in your spiritual development, just learn from them, keep it moving as you allow WISDOM to guide you to your highest good and greatest joy!

The spiritual gift for the month of MARCH is STRENGTH

Most people associate STRENGTH with being physically strong, having power or acting in a forceful way. However, your spiritual gift of STRENGTH, gives you the ability to use your inner power without using physical effort by allowing you to get still when confronted with a challenge so you can make a wise decision.

When you are dealing with any obstacles, using STRENGTH, you will learn how to have the patience that’s needed for the best outcome in all situations you will encounter. STRENGTH gives you the confidence to know that you have control over you and not any outside entity that attempts to take you out of spiritual alignment.

We live in a very diverse world that’s getting even more diverse everyday. Let’s face it, there are some people and points of views that you just don’t understand or agree with, and that’s okay. Your spiritual gift of STRENGTH will allow you to develop tolerance, which gives you the ability to be fair and just with people that you may not understand or agree with. Using this kind of STRENGTH will also keep you away from bigotry, prejudice and negative judgement of others, which will allow you to learn to value the diversity of humanity.

As you work toward fulfilling your destiny, there will be times when it seems like everything is going against you and you feel, “close to the edge”. You may even have people around you, (especially family and friends) telling you that you should give up on your dreams. Most of them don’t really mean you any harm; they just can’t see what God has shown you! Pay no attention to them, your spiritual gift of STRENGTH gives you the ability “keep it moving” and have the perseverance to achieve your divine purpose regardless of any people, places and things that are barriers on your path!

Even when you have set clear goals, you’re focused and ready to “make it happen”, there may be times when you seem confused because your heart is “feeling” one way and your head is “telling” you something else. You need balance, if there is no balance, you can become too “intellectualized” and suffer from what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. called the, “paralysis of analysis”. Or you can get too “spiritualized” and suffer because as I heard an elder say, “you become so spiritual minded, that you ain’t no earthly good”! During those times, you should get still and remember your spiritual gift of STRENGTH gives you the ability to achieve balance between your feeling nature and your thinking nature which will allow you to make the best decision for your highest good and greatest joy!

As you grow in your consciousness, continue to use your spiritual gift of STRENGTH to develop the patience, tolerance, perseverance and balance to help you achieve anything you desire by simply being who you are, a unique, remarkable and unrepeatable expression of the Most High God! It is true, you let It be and there It is, word!

The divinity in me salutes the divinity in you!The spiritual gift for the month of FEBRUARY is LOVE! It has been said that “love is the most healing, powerful and harmonizing force onEarth“, I agree 100%! Your spiritual gift of LOVE gives you the ability to go beyond your personal feelings, thoughts and emotions to experience a higher consciousness. LOVE allows you to connect to the oneness of God, which is the underlying principle of all things. Unfortunately, most people never fully learn how to use this powerful gift. Some people have only experienced a limited level of LOVE because they have placed conditions on their LOVE. For example, in relationships people will sometimes hold back on their LOVE if the other person doesn’t say, act or do the things they want them to. That’s not LOVE, that’s emotionalism! To fully use your spiritual gift of LOVE, you must learn to LOVE like God loves us, which is unconditionally! In fact, God loves you so much He said, “even if YOU choose to make your bed in Hell, I will be with YOU”! Wow, now that’s what I call unconditional LOVE! I know that may seem hard for you to do, however, you CAN do it, you are a child of God and if it’s true of God, it’s true of you too!It is written that “God is LOVE”, we believe this to be true. Since God lives within you, through you, as you, that actually makes you the living manifestation of LOVE! It is also written that you should, “LOVE God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul and you should LOVE your neighbor as you LOVE yourself”. As you begin to truly LOVE like God, you will experience the life you were born to live and it will become easy to share that LOVE with all of creation! We all seek LOVE to help our lives have more meaning and it’s not a coincidence that LOVE has to ability to “conquer all”. Using you spiritual gift of LOVE will give you an inner peace that is beyond words. JANUARY “FOOD FOR THE SPIRIT”

Peace and much love! The divinity in me salutes the divinity in you, Word!

The spiritual gift for the month of JANUARY is FAITH.

2007 was a challenging year for a lot of people, however, even with everything that happened, we survived and by God’s grace we made it through, so give thanks! 2008 is a year of new beginning so use it to your advantage by fully utilizing your spiritual gift of FAITH. As you begin this New Year, it’s very important that you think positive, stay focused on your good, keep it moving and most importantly, leave the past in the past!

Your spiritual gift of FAITH will be vital as you achieve your goals because it gives you the ability to see past the temporary illusions of earth and allows you to see into the infinite possibilities of the eternal, invisible realm of Spirit. As you begin your new adventures, use your spiritual gift of FAITH and allow yourself to, “dream the impossible dream”, about your life, your family, community and humanity!

Of course around this time of year, we make all kinds of “resolutions” that by next month, we usually forget about! However, it’s going to be different now because you are aware of your spiritual gift of FAITH! This year I want you to do something that may seem challenging at first, as much as possible, allow yourself to “walk by FAITH and not by sight”! That simply means you must be loving, fearless and not judge, (yourself or others) by appearances, give yourself and others the benefit of the doubt. Remember, everything you see is temporary and constantly changing, only God is eternal. Allow yourself and others the time to grow into their highest manifestation, all of us are a work in progress!

FAITH is the foundation that everything is built on, think about it, institutions, nations, relationships, jobs, all start with the belief that everything will manifest the way we desire. Each time you do something you’ve never done before, you use FAITH, hoping that it’s going to work out in your best interest especially if it’s uncharted territory. If you didn’t have FAITH you would never try anything new, you would just stay in your box. FAITH helps to remind you that what may seem impossible to you, really is possible with God!

Now is the perfect time to use your FAITH to, “go for it”, you have nothing to lose! This is going to be a remarkable year, I can’t really explain why, but can’t you feel it? It’s written that FAITH is, “the substance of things hoped for and the evidence things unseen”, so I’ll just leave you with that, have a GREAT New Year, Word!

The spiritual gift for the month of DECEMBER is LIFE.

This is the time of year when we reflect on what we experienced this year and begin to prepare for the New Year. Your spiritual gift of LIFE gives you the ability to heal and restore anything in your existence that is not in proper alignment with your true self. When you draw upon this gift, you are activating the higher consciousness within you.

As you go about your daily existence you should be aware of the wonder of LIFE that is evenly present in you. Recognize how the detail, perfection, and operation of how your body parts work together as a expression of the LIFE of God within you! Everyday you should ask yourself, “am I living the LIFE I was born to live?”

Human beings are the only species that has the ability to affect its LIFE through various states of conscious thinking. That means your future depends on you, and how you think about your LIFE. You should always remember that you are the physical manifestation of a true and living God that is expressing through you!

Sometimes people get preoccupied with death and worry about what will happen to them when they make their transition from this physical realm of Earth. Don’t waste your thoughts, time or energy with that, LIFE is for the living, enjoy it fully! Even when your physical LIFE is over, your spiritual LIFE continues forever! You are a Spiritual being and Spirit ALWAYS returns to itself! It’s important to remember that LIFE is a journey, not a destination, it is a process of attainment and mastery that is ever evolving within you!

This month people all over the world will celebrate LIFE through various holidays such as, Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa, what a blessing these holidays are! They give you the opportunity to spend time enjoying your family and friends while realizing all the blessings of your LIFE! During this time be careful not to get caught in the madness of the “holiday mass marketing machine”. It will have you running around trying to keep up with the latest “must have item” and will drain the physical, mental and financial LIFE right out of out!

As you take time to share these beautiful occasions with your family, friends and community,you have a wonderful opportunity to spread the joy, peace and love of LIFE that comes through each day, what a magnificent gift that truly is! Let your Light shine so people will see the LIFE of God in you, Word!
